Both being born and living on the island of Capri turned my passion for the sea into my main profession. Since I was little, thanks to my father who was a Diving Instructor, my deep love for the sea led me to start a maritime career and to be become a Diving Instructor as well.
When I was 16 years old, during summer I worked on a typical Capri “gozzo”, taking tourists from all over the world around the island, and during winter I alternated my studies with various jobs, such as carpenter which I have done for four years and as sound engineer for four more years.
These jobs, along with my passion for motors and machinery, built my now strong technical knowledge about nautical instrumentation: engines, navigation system and both electric and electronic equipment on board.
This made me learn how to handle myself sudden emergencies at sea and at times to help mechanics and technicians in their major repairs on board.
For the past 18 years my job has been focused on pleasure yachts, specifically high end charters for International Luxury guests.
Furthermore, considering my technical skills, during winters I have been redirecting my job in the shipyards of
those same yachts where my task was to follow thoroughly all the works of the units of the company.
